Motivate Like a CEO: Secrets to Communicating Vision and Driving Strategy Forward

In every organization, communicating the "big ideas" is essential to driving business results. Leaders, by definition, cannot do the work of the enterprise. They can only communicate what needs to be done, inspire trust, and motivate others to execute the plans. In this workshop, we will look at the role that leaders play in connecting people with purpose and helping them discover their own passion.

In this session, you will:

  • understand your influence on the larger purpose of the organization
  • connect vision and values to the mission of an organization
  • learn to use storytelling as a way to discover your mission and purpose, and to win hearts and minds

Team Building: Overcoming the Five Dysfunctions of a Team

Not finance. Not strategy. Not technology. It is teamwork that remains the ultimate source of competitive advantage, both because it is powerful and so rare. Teamwork is not a buzz word or a slogan, it's a proven leadership strategy. So how do you create and maintain a high-performing, cohesive leadership team? By overcoming the Five Dysfunctions of a Team.

In this session, you will learn:

  • how to build trust-not in a touchy-feely way but as an integral foundation for your team
  • how to prompt the necessary conflict for finding the team's best answers
  • how to achieve "buy-in" that fosters strong commitment to the team's decisions
  • how to grow peer-to-peer accountability on your team
  • how to achieve stellar results as a team

Maximizing Your Influence: A Program Designed for Women Leaders

Everyone can feel frustrated by their inability to be heard by others. Yet women cite this inability as an acute problem, which is a consistent and systemic feature of organizational life. Not being heard on equal footing with your male counterparts can impact their effectiveness and limit your ability to influence others. In this in-depth workshop, you will identify your preferred influence styles and strategies, while maintaining your authenticity and integrity.

In this session, you will learn how to:

  • determine your preferred influence style, strengths, and development opportunities
  • interpret common communication patterns of men and women
  • use techniques to build credibility in one-to-one and group interactions
